Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever won shite and walked away embarrassed. I’m sure it’s the same for the City players in this instance.

Did feleipe even touch foden when he got the red? I can only find one shitty replay and it doesnt even look like he touches him.
Lol at savic dragging him off the field, that shits hilarious.

Nobody is going to feel sorry for Atletico because if anyone deserves it it's them, but man City kind of disgraced themselves today.

I guess he chopped at Foden’s calf, but I haven’t seen a clip yet where he made contact. Should have been Savic’s red.

Did you enjoy your graceful loss yesterday?
Some of you all are hilarious on your moral high ground.
City got the job done today.

I thought it was clean at first too, but he did clearly swipe the back of his leg with his studs after the initial tackle.

Today couldn’t have gone any better for Liverpool or any worse for City.
Pool sleepwalk through with subs. Two best offensive and best defensive players on the bench.
City play the most CONCACAF-y team in Europe. Can’t rest anyone. Lose best offensive and best defensive players to injury.

At least we will have Ruben back.
That is the kind of games you need to win if you want a CL title. I’m glad to have taken that route (although I wouldn’t have hated to be in Liverpool’s seat).

Good news is that we get Dias back either this weekend or next supposedly.

Wish we would’ve gotten a VAR review for Ake pushing Correa in the back but you can’t leave the game in the refs hands. Wasted too many chances today and played too conservatively in the first leg even if we left with a decent result.

What’s the word on KDB? Was he hurt?

Grealish used the word banned by TD

Only thing I’ve seen was Sam Lee mentioning he came off for discomfort, not sure if that was the exact word, but it was a word to downplay an ‘injury’. Seemed it may have been more precautionary than anything and it would make sense after he went a full 90 on Sunday.

Nope, probably the toughest result since the Ovrebo robbery 13 years ago.

What's funny about hoping your team plays with a touch of class and doesn't result to La Liga level bullshite? When Chelsea can't win I always root for City over the rest of England because they typically haven't engaged in that type of behavior in the past. They certainly don't have to apologize to anyone, especially against Atletico, but it's still allowed to be noted that they didn't cover themselves in any glory.
Given it's a one off I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it if I were a City fan but in general I would have no desire to support a team playing like that regardless of how many trophies it resulted in.
