I bet both teams to score

I should have known better

They have been just kicking each other on every counter attack

That DC heat and humidity is melting a team from Saudi Arabia

How did Wazza survive it

Echeverri with a cracker of a free kick. The 19 year old gets his first goal for city.

Saying it’s 90% Palmeras fans

Has to be hard being at home and both games more of the other teams fans

That Miami goal was perfect taking advantage of the counter. This should be an open second half. Don’t think Miami’s defense can hold out that long. Already a chance to start the second half.

Also how bad is Porto. They are loosing again

Porto has definitely been disappointing.

Miami almost caught palm on the break.

Palmeiras gets 2 goals in 8’ to tie it.

Several missed opportunities for Inter Miami.

Has Miami advanced already?

EDIT: They will advance to Round of 16 but I thought I heard they will play PSG? That is tough

Yes.

If they had held on, Palmeiras would play PSG and Miami would play Botafogo.

The draw flipped the matchups with Palmeiras winning the group via goal differential.

..but both team still get $20MM for advancing,

Well that 20 million is going to MLS

Hilarious Miami wasn’t even supposed to be in this tournament and got out the group stage.

All thanks to that amazing left foot

I turned this on last night in the second half and those Palmeiras fans had that stadium jumping. Sounded like the game was in Brazil

How did Auckland City FC qualify for this?

0-16 scoring differential

10-0 loss to Bayern
6-0 loss to Benefica

What’s the expectation vs Boca?

Goal line is -5 for Boca

They’re the champs of the Oceania confederation. Since Australia moved to Asia, it’s de facto the NZ champion

They’re only semi-professional so the results are expected
