I want to see Henderson's touch chart. He's been on the field, in the middle, for 100+ minutes and I think he has less than 50.
he had 55 the entire match of a 120 mins

Henderson hit a good ball. He just hit it to the side where Ospina was favoring.
Dude, a waist high, open footed shot to your foot side?
Come on dude. That's the easiest shot in the game to save. What was he trying to do? bend it around him?
Bottom or top left with power, you only go right on your right foot when the keeper has jumped too early and you know he's beat. I realize its a guessing game but right side on your right foot is always tough..
Luckily he got bailed out.

He doesn't need to touch the ball to influence the game.
He's better than an English Busquets. He's the future of the "pivot".
Southgate is a genius.

Why would Henderson take a PK over Vardy?
This really blew my mind. Or any of the last 3 for England.
Isn't Vardy pretty damn nails? He looked dangerous as hell throughout.
Really like that cig blasting mouth breather for some reason.

Wasn’t able to post during game and I see that it’s clearly been mentioned above me, but have any explanations come out for why in the frick Vardy didn’t take a pen? I can’t believe Southgate had Hendo and Dier kicking one. Seems so obvious though that I have to be missing something
I mean wouldn’t the obvious selection be Vardy and Lingard over those 2..?
Was also surprised Southgate subbed on Rose for Young in extra time and didn’t bring on someone to take a penalty. Welbeck was only other attacker left on bench, and idk enough about the other players on bench but I’m pretty damn confident if you asked any Liverpool supporters they would agree with me when I say I’d have way more trust in Alexander-Arnold from the spot over Henderson
Also seems crazy to me that RLC was never brought on. Obvious choice would’ve been for Hendo but shite they should have even brought him on for Dele instead of Dier. I realize they had a 1-0 lead at the time but a midfield of Hendo (on a yellow card) and Dier isn’t exactly a recipe for success on this stage

I’m alive and hung the frick over
2 hours late for work aswell but they can get fricked
Thought Henderson’s penalty was decent but a good save.
Sky sports have said that Vardy was injured so Dier stepped up for the 5th pen as he was supposed to take it.
Pickford save is top draw

How do you feel knowing England won this game due to a phantom penalty for Kane?

How to you feel knowing Kane was going to score if he hadn't been mugged from behind?

I feel like people need to learn how to defend corners instead of wrestling people right to the ground. Especially when the ref is 4 yards away from you watching it happen

It was a very poor height as well. I just meant there was good contact to it. If he placed the ball there with Ospina standing in the middle of the net I don’t think it gets saved.

It’s almost like you didn’t even watch the game.
If you did, you’d have seen Kane initiate contact and start pulling the defender.

They lost. Get over it.

I watched the game, I saw a defender hold out his arms to keep Kane from beating him and then ride him to the ground when he got beat. Maybe if he didn't have his hands in his back and pushing while Kane was going down he wouldn't have gotten called for the foul.
