Boom. Stop the lies from the self serving women.

ETA never mind the USwnt lawyer is already chiming about it being lies. They have no concept about reality and are clearly just after personal cash. No care about he growth of the game, the propping up of a crappy league no one watches, the other benefits (like health insurance) the salary guarantees etc.

So a woman in NWSL that also plays for the USWNT makes at least $167,000/yr guaranteed and full health benefits no matter what.

A man playing in the MLS and also playing for the USMNT makes $0/yr guaranteed with no benefits.

Is that an accurate summary?

Only if you aren't counting his MLS salary because it's not paid by the USSF. But he would also be paid by the USSF if he is called into a USMNT camp.

If he man plays for the USMNT he gets a per game amount etc. the women also get a per game amount but it sounds like it’s lower due to he guarantees and other benefits they are already getting. Total payout outside of fifa bonuses is in the woman’s favor by far.

Hell the fact that the federation chose to not state their case during the World Cup should tell you which side has integrity.

Well right, but the women get a "bonus" of 6X,000 if they play in the NWSL regardless of their actual NWSL salary.

I get that, was just saying the women have guaranteed money and benefits without having to play.

Oh 100%, this will exit the news in about a week.

So how does that work for someone who may get called up two or three times vs. a regular like Alex Morgan?

I think they get the same base salary, but Morgan will earn more overall due to the bonuses.

Just lol @ the response from the women’s team lawyer. Apparently facts on payments verified by an independent accounting firm are false.

I guess the women should start giving the men some of their money because equal pay and all.

File this under no shite Sherlock. Cordeiro couldn’t respond to this during WC because this was a full on SJW runaway train. Eventually it ran it’s course and then he responded to the propaganda. We haven’t heard much from the uswnt since France and football season is coming up and we won’t hear frick all about this shift in the narrative.

Please do not interpret this as me siding with the women here (because I am not), but I am a lawyer and I can find an "independent" expert to validate my position for every single matter I take to trial. So can the other side. Experts bend data to say what they are paid to say.

Again, I'm not crossing the aisle here, but you'll likely see something from the women's side that appears to be equally as convincing (if the USWNT's lawyer is doing his/her job).

Sounds like more people obviously care about/watch men’s soccer worldwide, thus larger payouts for tournaments. Who woulda thunk it. Otherwise, they seem to be fairly compensated compared to the men...if not more so.

I see this used a lot
Was the women’s team actually suing for this?
Were they Upset the WWC champion got less of a payout than the men’s?

I seem to interpret that as well. They are basically co-opting the men’s fifa bonus and using US equality laws to force that.

Edit: thanks to Trinidad November 2017 in empowering these women to act like jackasses.

Fake news according to her. Numbers and facts be damned. We feel like we don’t have equal pay so we probably don’t.
