Yeah, Not sure about competition for the German NT spot but Gomez has been out since November and is just coming back now but yet still to go a full 90'.

He'll probably have a chance to impress in the next couple of months though as Rossi is still out too and Fiorentina's midfield creates chances by the dozen.

Klose has been in pretty questionable form for Lazio (which means he'll probably end up as capocannoniere if they bring him to the WC).

I was just discussing this with a friend. At what point does the lack of competition in the Bundesliga start to hinder the development of Bayern. Complacency could become an issue when all you really have to play for in the Champions League. Winning 4-0 every weekend doesn't really get you ready for the talented teams they will play in the Champs league.
