I do think resting key players after a long club season is not a horrible idea here. Looking ahead to future knockout round opponents is tricky, though. Wasn't England looking ahead to France when they lost to Iceland? They should know not to take any opponent for granted.

based purely on physical appearance i feel like harry maguire shouldn't be good at soccer. like he should be working for a wholesale slate manufacturer in northern england.

The players and coaches don’t give a shite if fans enjoy the game.

This is why I hate he World Cup and other big tournaments. It brings out a bunch of people who think their owed some marvel every match.
