Croatia deserved the result IMO. Henderson was shite even by his low standards and Lingard was Linfraud. Actually very few English players were above average.

The 4th ref awarded 4 extra minutes. The head ref should add time, as needed, for non standard play stops.
If you're going to talk shite at least be informed about it.
ETA: That was also the only thing I've said about the ref in the entire thread.

Croatia looked like shite for most of the 1st half...England getting to every ball and blocking every shot.
But once Croatia evened it, they were running downhill and looked like it would be an avalanche for them while England didn't know how to respond after turtling it for 40 minutes.

Yeah. They got away with not needing a midfield player to actually play a decisive pass all tourney. That is super rare for an international tournament. They shouldn't expect a run like this again unless they get a deeper midfielder who can at least make a pass.
