Horrible play style despite having one of the best talent pools on Earth. Fans also think they are on the level of 2002 Brazil or 2010 Spain but it just isn't true. They can't control matches and England historically suffers heartbreaking losses in the knockout stages of tournaments because they can't score and retreat into their shell.
On talent alone, they should probably always make deep tournament runs and play an attractive playing style but they play like a lower tier Premier League team.
Saka, Rice, Bellingham, Foden, Kane, Trent Alexander Arnold, at one point Kyle Walker and others are/have been world class.
I don't think it's a coincidence that when Pep, Klopp, and someone like Arteta and other world class coaches coming through England that they finally started making deep runs in tournaments.

I genuinely frickING HATEEEEEE Kieren Trippier with all of my heart. He is so fricking shite yet constantly gets into the team because of Southgate.
He quite literally is at least 75% of the reason England has been so horrible this tournament and why their left side is so horrible. Prime Ronaldo could be on the left wing and this retard wouldn't offer support going forward.
