Quick question gents, all I play is Seasons online, lately I've been the road team in EVERY SINGLE GAME I PLAY. Why is that? Playing @ the Berabeu every game is getting old.

I didn't bother doing custom stats as I just started and my team may look very different. Here's the squad I'm rolling with in my first season with 1860 Munchen.
Each new player to the club was purchased except for Amiri who is on loan. I accidentally left off my GK in the screenshot, it's this guy. LINK
Platte is leading my squad in goals with 8 goals so far this season (Adlung with 7). Waldschidmt took over starting job after Hain missed two games due to injury. I've done a lot of configuring, but found that the diamond is the best for me so far.

So, I won the 2. Bundesliga earlier this week with 69 (nice) points. Even though I was the best team in the league for both goals scored and goals allowed by a good margin, Red Bull only finished like four points behind me. They scraped together a bunch of 1-0 and 2-1 wins.
Got less than $1 million for winning the league, which stunned me. But after selling some more deadweight and winning a preseason tournament, I had enough to buy Julian Green, Wil Trapp and Moses Simon.
At the end of the summer window in my second season, I'm eighth in the Bundesliga with this first-choice squad.
- Adam Delgado is my short academy goalkeeper (that's why he got the special colors), who is already at a 73 at the age of 19. The picture is just a Delgado I found that kinda looks like his generated face. He, along with now Green and Trapp, have gotten training every week since they've joined the roster. I'm going to make this kid a miniature Neuer.
- Kelechi Iheanacho ran away with the Golden Boot in the 2. Bundesliga and already has a couple of goals in the first division. I've pulled back on training him as much, because he's going back to City at the end of the season and I need to develop Simon to be his replacement. (Couldn't afford City's preferred future fee when I first got him on loan.)
- Birama Ndoye is a god amongst mere mortals. I want to develop his ball skills and make him my new destroyer at CDM.
- I have an American CM academy graduate on my bench who is a 62 at 17. He's super fast and pass well for his age.
- A snapshot of the best players in my youth academy:
Andrew Carrasco (17, American, RM): 55 OVR with 71-75 in potential
Bastian Anton (17, German, CAM): 54 OVR with 80-86 in potential
Leroy Kratz (17, German, CAM): 53 OVR with 81-87 in potential
Loris Lam (16, German, ST): 54 OVR with 85-91 in potential (!!!)
Maurice Kratz (15, German, RB): 61 OVR (!!!) with 76-86 in potential
Michael Mullgrew (16, American, LM): 54 OVR with 82-88 in potential
Suleyman Hoffmann (15, German, CM): 55 OVR with 72-84 in potential
Tim Maund (17, American, LW): 56 OVR with 75-94 in potential

Props for the FUT screenshot
I'm going to do a Year 2 update with my 1860 Munchen career. I managed to do a lot of selling to get a better overall squad. Finally was able to sell all of the non-Germans except for one CB. I really wanted to get Timo Werner, but I got outbid. Settled for Selke from RB Leipzig. I'm currently 2nd in the table behind Greuther Furth.

Notts County Road to CL Manager Mode Update
Recap of Year 5:
Finished 2nd, Arsenal won the league. Leeds, Bornemouth, and Norwich City are relegated. 2nd-4th was very tightly battled. Finished above City on GD and above Chelsea by 2 points.
Winter Transfer Window:
Didn't do a whole lot of buying, because I wanted to sign a lot of free transfers for my CL push in year 6.
Viktor Kovalenko - FC Shaktar - CM - 18m - 40k/wages
Bartlomiej Dragowski – Manchester City – Short Loan with 2.9m fee – 20k/wages
Departures:
Alphonse Areola – FC Utrecht – 12m
Ryan Gauld – Eihntract Frankfurt – 28m
Romelu Lukaku – FSV Mainz 05 – 35m
Stephen Arthurworrey – Leeds United – 875k
I know that seems like a ton of selling for no immediate replacements. I knew I was going to be very solidly in the top 4-5, so I kinda just went for all the free transfers. I think I did pretty well.
Free Transfers:
Juan Carlos – Rayo Vallecano – 130k/wages
Gareth Bale – Real Madrid – 175k/wages
Lucas Torro – Real Madrid – 125k/wages
Raphael Varane – Real Madrid – 150k/wages
Alen Halilovic – Barcelona – 135k/wages
Julian Brandt – Bayer 04 – 40k/wages
Kellyn Acosta – FC Dallas – 15k/wages (Got him as a Sproadic 1st teamer as I'm not sure how long Diego Poyet will be around)
Year 6:
So, my team looks quite different than it did in the past. Trying to get all of the players playing well together in one formation has been.... challenging. After a few games of preseason, I arrived at reality that I'm going to have to sell some of my attacking players sadly. I've done a poor job at assigning player roles in contracts, so I'm also looking for good players I can convince to be Squad or Sproadic players.
Goal for the season is to win Champions League, so I'm going all out.
Transfer Window:
Arrivals:
Marco Reus - Borussia Dortmund - 52m - 160k/wages
Lucas Melano - Portland Timbers - 11.5m - 60k/wages (Squad)
DeAndre Yedlin - Spurs - 6m - 60k/wages (Squad)
Rubio Rubin - FC Utrecht - 5.8m - 25k/wages (Sproadic)
Departures:
Steven Bergwjin - Ajax - 40m
Munir - Celta Vigo - 37m
So, I have another 33.5m to play around with and I saved it for the Winter window where I'll go after somebody big. James is currently highest rated player in the game at 93, and I tried, but Juve wanted $93m for him. Screw that.
I loaned a bunch of players out while I sorted out the contract issues and to give good playtime. If anyone cares, I can make more of the bench cards, but I didn't bother with the extras.

Is Torro one of those glitched players that just keeps growing? Because he starts out as a 62 in the game
What kind of ratings do the Americans (Acosta, Rubin, etc) have?
Your team is stacked as hell. How the frick did you do so well in the (free) transfer market? That's pretty amazing
ETA: Is your GK also bugged? He only has a 71 rating at age 27 at the start of the game. A 20 point increase in 6 years is literally insane.

Yeah, those guys are definitely glitched. And holy crap at all those free transfers.

Yeah. I had to look him up after I signed him. He and Juan Carlos are both apparently glitched. I don't really mind though.

Acosta is rated at 74, Rubin is rated 75. Rubin is on board as my 3/4 ST behind Melano and Embolo. He came on as a sub in a Cup game. It's a pretty balanced player later on. Fast enough, but not too pacey. No real weaknesses. I'll do a check for more Americans later.

Lots of luck really. Halilovic's contract ran out last year, but he was 22 and the game defaulted him to a 1 year deal, which I took immediate advantage of in the following window.

He's a beast on my City MM. Pacey as hell, the only problem I have is that his stamina is really low. Unless there's 5-6 days in between matches he won't make it past halftime of the next game.
Posted on 2/2/16 at 12:12 pm to McCaigBro69
Are you training his stamina each week?
Posted on 2/2/16 at 1:01 pm to WarSlamEagle
Going to start a Montpellier CM when I get home. Trying to recreate the glory of Giroud and that 2011-12 season before Ligue 1 totally became PSG's bitch.

I did for awhile, but it increases so slow it almost isn't even worth it at this point. I also don't want to take training away from a young guy and it give it to someone who's already an 85 overall

I've never actually done Ligue 1 before, but I've kicked around the idea of starting with Montpellier a few times. Lille and St. Etienne are also intriguing to me.
ETA: I admittedly know Ligue 1 less than practically every other major European league. I'm more comfortable in my knowledge of Portugal and Netherlands than France.

I made a thread about this awhile back, but if you search "Ligue 1 fixtures" in Google, they have all the highlights from their YouTube channel embedded. The clips are in French language, but the video is HD and it's a good way to begin getting familiar with the league.

Bumped difficulty up to Professional and I'm struggling lol Remember this is my first FIFA game ever but man things got tough... Playing a Spurs Manager Mode and taking some licks

Got to start somewhere! Practicing some of the skill drills can be helpful, and figuring out some of the simpler, more helpful mechanics, like slow dribbling, through balls, lofted through balls, and finesse shots.

Biggest thing that helped me score goals was being able to make the right decision between crossing in from the wing or trying to crossover/cutback against the defender to get into the box.
When learning, pretty much the only goals I could score were breakaways or short passes across the 6-7 yd line.

No clue if it's just me, but I probably score maybe 6-7 goals a season from crosses. I don't know if it's my formation, height of players or what, but I typically always go for the cutback. I've mastered it pretty well at this point and I'll either look for a pass into the box or do a sprinting finesse shot. Suprisingly El Shaarawy sinks those more often than not.
Posted on 2/4/16 at 9:17 am to McCaigBro69
I only go for crosses when the target is wide open near the goal. Crossing is probably my worst skill in FIFA, I usually go down the middle with ground passes and hit cutbacks on the wing.
