i don't play FUT i only play straight seasons (all about the play/strategy in-game. don't care about building teams)
the biggest issue with pacers is that the L1 defender shift AI is completely wrecked in 16 and i honestly have no clue about 1/3 of the time why they selected a CB who is 30 yards away instead of the CM 1-3 yards away. make no mistake, though, me switching and instructing that player (the CB now and not the CM) to go forward for a tackle leaves huge gaps for strikers to fill
the 4-1-2-1-2 is really powerful for the pace/all out attack/press group b/c as soon as you don't score, their CB or CDM clears to the CAM with a perfect pass every time, and then they will have 2 speedy ST up top going 110% against 2-3 defenders. even if you play defensively, any failed attack will leave your CBs on an island

I primarily play Manager Mode and have recently accepted the German National Team Coaching Position. Are the Olympics and World Cup on FIFA 16?

World Cup, Confederatons Cup, Euros and a rip off of the Copa America are in game.

When I say they're in the game, they are, but technically aren't.
The World Cup isn't called the World Cup along with all of the other tournaments. However, the lay-out is more or less the exact same as the actual tournaments.
It still feels just as good to win the mofo with the US regardless.

I'm gonna try to become more involved with the National team since my Juventus is at the top of the league right now

You should be bossing with Juve. If you weren't, something would be wrong

What are you talking about the World Cup is definitely called be World Cup in FIFA
Posted on 3/9/16 at 1:04 pm to StraightCashHomey21
It literally trademarks it lol

Ummm... EA has the license to the World Cup name and trophy, and it has for a while.
This was a screenshot from FIFA 14.

Oh look, Donovan helped USA win the 2014 world cup!

Yeah you're right lol.
I just know they don't have the Euro's. I think the Confederation Cup is also called that in Fifa as well.
Konami has all the EUFA rights, correct? I'm assuming so since that's why they have the UCL.
By the way, here's the league table in 2022 lol. Newcastle came into some money and have players like Morata and Kondogbia. Somehow United suck and they have Neymar, Bale and Courtois.

Newcastle have crazy money the owner just doesn't spend it, well until lately.

I decided to finish my Kaiserslautern season (fifth overall, fourth in 1. Bundesliga...got that wrong yesterday), and I can make a move to...
- Milan
- Everton
- Liverpool
- Spurs
- Valencia
- Bilbao
- Marseille
- Dortmund
(The United opportunity isn't there anymore.
)
I'm thinking about hopping to one of those teams, even though it means I won't be managing in the UCL. I'll keep a Kaiserslautern save just in case I want to challenge Bayern again. Just not sure which one I want to do. Milan and Valencia are interesting.
I do know that heading into the 2020-21 season, Ross Barkley is an 88 and Everton values him at $100 million.
All these big teams have $100 million or more in the bank because EA fixed the transfer budgets this year, but the AI doesn't make nearly enough transfers for the money they have. An AI-controlled Everton could buy nearly anyone this far along, but they aren't prestigious enough to get the massive names, so they sit on the money. Just shuffles big names and high-potential players for the most part, aside from the random transfer listed players.

Bilbao is fun if you stick to the basque restrictions

City the last two years in mine have finished 8th and 7th
Way to go out there and do something hard by doing manager mode with the club who has the deepest pockets.

that's a frick ton of research
that and your academy scouts can only be used in Spain.

There are lists out there of players you can sign.
Or France, and any player who is under 17 and trains for a basque club is also eligible.

The City one is always the first MM I start and I honestly hardly buy any players. I typically just scout and try and have 20-25, 82-94 potential academy players by year three then start selling everyone who hits age 27 or higher and wasn't scouted by me.
I have more fun building the team than I do actually playing it.
My other MM is with Brighton Hove. Haven't sunk much time in it and likely won't anytime soon since the Division just came out.

I sold my Premier league team in FUT in a quest to buy Ronaldo. I've been stuck in the fifth division for 3 or 4 seasons. Struggling to score and conceding a lot of goals. My team was rated 84 ovr which is pretty good on FUT. 87-88 is typically as good as it gets and 81-82 is a solid team. Well, I had to have some players to play with in the meantime until I have enough coins for my La Liga squad. Decided on building an MLS squad and I destroyed division 5. Won the title at 6-2-2 (0-2-2 when I started with MLS squad)
I have to give all the credit to this guys tactics though. I conceded 1 goal in 6 games and killed people with gegenpressing and the counter attack. If you like to counter (I've always been better at that than tika taka) then I highly recommend these custom tactics. I run it from the wide 4-1-2-1-2 with Bradley at CDM, pace wide, Martins and Dos Santos up top and Giovinco at the number 10.
