Balls deep into my Marseille manager mode on legendary. A few seasons in and have three straight league/cup doubles and two CL final appearances with one win. Bombed out of Europa my first season but whatever. Morgan Sanson TYFYS.
Probably gonna start a new one soon with a tougher team but it’s pretty discouraging with how much I get disrespected in the transfer market even with a club like OM. I’ve got Leon Bailey 90 rated at age 22 with his estimated market value between 156 mil€-225 mil€ and the best offer I’ve gotten is 81 mil€. Something that definitely needs to be tweaked after some sustained success in manager mode on FIFA 19.

I downloaded it over the weekend and played a couple matches. The timed finishing mechanic was kinda wonky. I'm sure I'll like it better once I've messed around with it more.

I hated fifa 18 but the 19 demo really surprised me. The players move much more fluidly and the passing and touches are improved.

I only played the Beta a little bit. I was not too impressed and I hope they fixed some of the issues. I mainly remember trying to cross the ball several times and it sent my player into a slide tackle.

It’s really hard right out of the gate vs the comp. I’ve gotten to the point I win nearly every game on legendary even with a somewhat lesser team after playing for not too long in the last few years and I’m barely hammering out ugly 1-0 wins or 1-1 draws on world class.
I think they’ve finally changed the game enough to where there shouldn’t be one or two true metas vs human opp but we’ll see.
Passing has made as big of a jump in difficulty this year as it has in forever. Timed finishing should keep certain people (i.e. myself) from spamming the shoot button in the box for easy low driven goals and give you a slightly better chance if you nail a timed shot outside the box.
If you’re burnt out on the series, the game play might draw you back in but I think there will be a lot of the same BS in terms of career mode still lacking needed fixes and FUT being a pyramid scheme in which idiots like me will shamelessly participate.

FIFA 19 Ultimate Team web app is now up and running for those who play Ultimate Team.

If you have EA early access you can preorder the game and then uninstall and then reinstall the trail until the EA access logo in the bottom right hand corner disappears and then you can keep playing the trial beyond the 10 hour period. Saw it on reddit and my frah brah from college said he got it to work.
