Most of the shite talking here doesn't really bother me because I'm actually a Germany fan. I don't just hop on it for the World Cup.
I know, props to you for supporting Germany. I pull for the Italians when they are not playing the Americans.

I'm pumped as well. Hopefully it will be an exciting match

They deserved the win. I can't wait for Sunday.
I might be in NOLA for the final.

That would require breaking teams down through possession or individual brilliance. Germany could probably play a pretty good possession game if they geared the team toward that.
Spain played a perfect gameplan, they clogged the midfield up entirely. Muller would have brought more speed and discipline to the wing.
I think Loew made the wrong decisions to start Trochowski and to sub in Gomez.

Pretty much. A little more crispness by Germany would have resulted in a different game.

If Muller and Podolski were able to spread the field like in prior games, it probably would have been different. We'll never know, though.

Spain was also able to put pressure on Schweinsteiger and Khedira, never letting them have time to pick a forward pass.

Schweinsteiger covered the entire field
I don't think he even played close to his best game today. That guy is headed for greatness/already there.

Ozil looked disinterested or something
They mentioned he looked nervous pre-match, and to me he just seemed overwhelmed by the moment. He should be very good in 4 years.
I'm glad I didn't check the score while at work. That was a great match. I guess the better team won, but Germany was threatening and looked as likely to score until the latter stages of the game when Spain started to play with more urgency.
What was the reaction here to the no-call penalty at the end of the 1st half? I guess it could have been called, but I wasn't sure.

i would answer your q, but you're mean and hate my team. so
main theory was he over sold it and was out of control (my theory LUCKY)

I was a Spain-tard today. I like Germany too, but my old Spain-loving tendencies rose to the top.
I wish Pedro had fed Torres for that late goal. <3 El Nino.

Yeah I don't think he was getting a shot on goal either way. Still a bang-bang call that could have been a penalty.

i has holding my breath with heart pounding b/c i just KNEW they were going to call it. it was close and could've went either way.

Don't think it was a penalty, now the foul on Schweinsteiger by Puyol was definitely missed.

Like I said earlier, Germany is lucky, even with all this butthurt post match whining and crying, that even if everything went their way, that they didn't lose 5-1.

he had just gotten into the box before he fell. it would have been a PK
