I don't think it was a PK. Players on both teams tied up and went down.

That side of the bracket is the most open I can remember. I was pulling for England but as usual the press is pissing me the frick off. All I hear is Colombia are a 3rd rate side and we should walk them; cocky shits.

All I'm saying is that Spain have a dearth of options upfront. Aspas is too much like the midfielders, and requires intricate passing. Morata or even playing Rodrigo more would have been more useful in this game where they were playing a low block team. Morata also has a good record with the national team.

My Argentina is out so I don't know who to root for honestly. I picked France to win it all before the tournament so I guess I'll cheer for them even though they beat us out.

Is it weird to anyone else that it's nonstop commercials of hey United States you aren't here so cheer for us?
Keep in mind I don't know anything about or follow soccer. Are y'all a fan of penalty kick finishes? Seems like too much time spent battling it out all game to decide the game on what looks like a goalie being lucky

Gotta end it sometime. Majority of the players had been playing for 120 minutes. Any longer and they might die.
