While I agree Kane probably shouldn't be captain, I genuinely have trouble finding somebody else to give it to off the top of my head.

I know you weren't talking about Hendo... VVD is a great leader of our defense and one of the leaders on the team...
Hendo is the indisputable captain on and off the field and everyone close to the club acknowledges that.. just because your prediction looks silly now, doesn't make it any less true.. nor does that "VVD is the real captain" nonsense...
Who deserves to be captain of England? He has as strong(er) a case as anyone in that suqad... I get why Kane was named captain and in all honesty, not a subject I have that strong of feelings about..

Henderson doesn’t have a stronger case than anyone in that squad
Hell his play has often been detrimental to England’s performance on the field
He the oldest player in the pool getting call ups recently but that doesn’t make him the strongest case to be the captain.
It’s about team dynamics and leading that particular group of players.
It has been working for Liverpool the last two years but even then his first few years as captain were not so great.

Took longer than everyone thought it would with klopp but with how Liverpool was just throwing shite at walls hopping it would stick with buying players for a while it was always gonna be a painful process

Thank you everyone for the input. I am a huge Gerrard fan - dude is a legend. I like what Hendo brings to the squad, but he is no Captain Fantastic. But...If Hendo remains captain and lifts another CL, multiple PLs, and a few other miscellaneous trophies, where does he rank as an all time Liverpool great?
