That almost certainly has more to do with demographics than MLS building their brand. That said, I'll take it.

Probably so, but it's still encouraging.

Sounders are the only MLS team I've seen and no, definitely not cheaper tickets than other sports besides maybe NFL.

It costs more to see the Los Angeles Galaxy than it does to see Bayern Munich. According to data compiled by GoEuro, a travel search engine, Major League Soccer tickets are some of the priciest soccer tickets in the world, more expensive than tickets to the Bundesliga, the premier German soccer league with the best average attendance in the world, or Ligue 1, the French league that’s home to global superstars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva. According to GoEuro’s report, the average MLS ticket costs $46.22, 60 percent more than the average Major League Baseball ticket. Published Wednesday, the report tracked both ticket cost and the average price of traveling to an away game. To nobody’s surprise, the English Premier League came in first, with an average ticket price of nearly $83. Spain’s La Liga came in a close second, with a price at more than $78. Italy’s Serie A, where the average ticket costs $76, came in third.

MLS prices for the quality of play is very high.

Did my own research on attendance. From this website MLS is third behind NFL and MLB and ahead of NBA NASCAR is not included in this comparison. This is average attendance comparison.

Actually sounds like Bundesliga and Ligue 1 just sell themselves short.

As someone who supports a German club you should know better on why ticket prices are so affordable.

Yes, we get it. In that case, you can't compare Bundesliga to MLS. You're comparing apples to oranges. The cost of going to an MLS game is still half of that of a EPL match. I would say that's fair. If MLS stadiums were bigger, then I would think they are charging too much.

What is really crazy about EPL matches is how some of the big clubs ticket pricing is so different from each other.
