Its wrong in the sense that it is literally incorrect. I'm going to Italy over England 9/10 times, given the choice. Better food, better women, better weather, better beaches, better history. Unless I have a ticket to a Prem game, there really isn't much of a reason to choose England over Italy.

If you're wealthy or have significant means, Italy beats England as a place to live. If you have to choose a place to work and make a living, almost everyone on this board (if they were being honest) would choose England because of its economy alone. Italy's pre-pandmeic unemployment rate was 10%. That's as high as the unemployment rate in many American states DURING the pandemic. The constituent countries of the United Kingdom are far closer to the standard of living we're accustomed to in America than that of Italy.
