If you guys had any discernible success before, oh let's call it the last decade, you'd have a reason to act high-and-mighty. If that club had an actual fan base before the last decade, you'd have a reason to act high-and-mighty. But you were bought by a billionaire. Pumped a fricking ton of money into it to buy a winner. Acquired a ton of bandwagon fans. Hang your hat on quality human beings like John Terry, and crybabies like Lampard, Drogba and Torres.

What a fricking team to cheer for. It's like Roman had daddy issues or something.

ETA: And FWIW, there's at least a history there buddy. At least there's something to be proud of before 2003. LULZ.

So basically you are upset Man Utd didn't corner the market anymore? This would be like Warren Buffett buying the Red Sox and a Yankee fan crying about it being unfair.

From a Man U fan, that's pure gold.

At least the face of our team didn't have to pay for his shag.

And if you should know, do your homework. I started a thread a month ago talking about how it's no fun to follow United because they never have to struggle. So I started a new search for a new club.

BUT, since we're working under the assumption that I'm a United fan, we'll have this discussion under that notion.

United's money came from actual success, not some billionaire owner.

That's probably evidenced by the 1.5 BILLION dollar tag the Glazers paid in 2005 for the team, but hey, it's exactly the same.

Point condeded, and taken. But having only began following soccer in any kind of way in 2006, you're attacking a guy whose exposure to the sport is rather short compared to most of you. I'm not claiming to be an expert.

So he fricked someone's wife. Thanks for proving my point that Terry is a miserable human being. Judging from your advocation of his action, it must be a Chelsea thing.

But if you would have won the CL in 2008, it would have been by penalties...so would it then, by your logic, be less of a title than if it wasn't won on penalties?

Even more pathetic.

You're right. You don't know much about soccer.

You're running out of ammo, and your posts are becoming thinner and thinner.

And so I didn't know the ever important details of John Terry's scandel. Didn't know it was so important enough where it insured that I wasn't knowledgable of the game.

Carry on, I'm obviously in over my head.

ETA: And it's pathetic that I'm jumping OFF the bandwagon of the most successful team in the Premiership? Answer me this, HOW? By looking for a team to root for where I may actually have to suffer a little, so the payout is all that much sweeter?

When you resort to this kind of meaningless jab it's pretty obvious who is running out of ammo.

Well if you are going to blast a guy at least know what you are blasting him for.

At least you admit you don't know what you're talking about.

careful King, pretty soon he might turn his attention on your club and its 'history'.

True or false: I should continue wasting my time with the fan who has daddy issues, so he latches on to the richest, prettiest thing he can find?

I knew you would come to his defense. It's about time for you to ask to the board to choose a new one for you, no?

You should go back to your lifelong club and realize the geographic, political, spiritual, and sexual ties that bind you to it.

*Ignores Didier Drogba and Florent Malouda*

Oh and Xavi looks like he wears make up.

Noted.

I'm gonna buy this guy a vintage Drogba jersey. Vintage 2004, you know...back in the old days.

But AU, I'm sorry for bothering you and getting you worked up. I'll let you get back to your honeymoon of hard Spanish dicks and classless abortions. You deserve it, with your rich history and all.

So, how does everyone think that Drogba and Torres will play together...I gotta think this may be the end of Drogba at Chelsea, at his age, if they are going to get anything for him, it would be this summer. Off to the evil empire of Real Madrid...

Game. Set. Match.

Yea Barca have a bunch of pansies, (and I'll give you Drogba king, but Malouda?) but it's pretty hard to say much against them right now even if La Liga is a two team league. Can't wait for CL to start back up to see what these other leagues do against teams that can actually compete with them.
