I'd like to read or watch a real in depth interview on this situation. He really seemed all in on Mexico until he wasn't.

A US born player (Carolinas), who has lived pretty much his whole life (from what I've read) in the US, and you guys think he's not American enough?
Sorry that he had family pressure to choose Mexico initially , but I have no problem with him switching to the US if that's where he feels more comfortable - and this isn't a "I'm not quite good enough for my home (Germany) country so I'll switch to the US" situation like others. The only reason for him to switch would be because he wants to play for us.

Yes, I think he finally beat Chris Seitz at FCD for the starting spot. Maybe they were just easing him into the role, but if he was anything better than decent you would think he would have had a bigger role last year.

This kid is much more American than Aaron Johanson, and i doubt anyone on this board questioned his recruitment.
