Attributed to number of players wearing shitty Nike shoes. " they were literally falling apart" says unnamed striker, who ask they not name him for fear of reprisal from Nike. " I mean these new shoes really suck. We almost could never get decent traction. Even Renaldo was slipping about. I am sure that is what caused him to get injured." ??

He was injured because his foot stuck in the turf.

I'm sorry, but the 2016 Euro was a snore fest.

It really reminded me of the college world series. Maybe they should make the goals bigger or the ball easier to kick. This is going to ruin the game.

Not to mention he was taking a tackle from Payet at the time. Not saying it was a bad/late or otherwise uncalled for tackle.....it was a good tackle that just unfortunately ended up with a knee knock for Cron.

Lol no.

It doesn't work remotely the same, but since I've used Reddit for like the last eight years downvotes serve almost no purpose and for some reason I carry that over here.

I may not get along or see eye-to-eye with everyone on here, but just because I disagree doesn't mean I'm going to rage and downvote unless it's just a worthless comment and doesn't contribute to the conversation.

You want people to believe you know soccer and its equipment? Try spelling one of its superstars names right...

Renaldo and Messy are gud.

I mean, the lack of scoring has more to do with the way tactics have evolved in the international game, which also suffers from a lack of scoring to begin with. That the most popular tactical set up was the low-block, and that this tactical set-up was extremely successful, means most games were low-scoring. It's really hard to play exciting soccer in the international game.

Despite this, I didn't find any games boring. I was highly entertained throughout the whole tournament.

I was too, but I was a defender. If I want to watch teams that don't know how to defend, I'll watch the MLS.

Portugal had a 3-3 game with Hungary.

Czechs and Croatians were 2-2.

The final being boring was France's fault. They weren't good the whole tournament. Late goals against teams like Albania to mask their weakness.

Germany game could have been very different.
