Even the supporters groups of most, if not all, big 6 clubs have come out vehemently against it. This is American owners trying to convert the Prem to a franchise system with guaranteed status. I’m sure Kroenke was in on it also. The promotion/relegation system is what makes the leagues so fascinating since American sports have no equivalent league setup.
