Anybody got the new shirt yet?

Got mine in the other day and I really love it. Fits and feels a lot better than last years', more lightweight, and just looks so god damn clean. Very happy with it.

I preordered it, and it got it the day before it was officially released. I love the feel of this shirt, much more than the Adidas offerings. The last Adidas shirt I bought was from 2006 I believe, so I can't really compare it to last years shirt. But I was surprised by how soft the fabric is. It's class all around, that's for sure.

They also included a Warrior Sports Liverpool t shirt the same size, and it also has a fitted feel to it. Very good quality t shirt. It looks similar to the jersey with the warrior logo and liverbird logos, but without the standard chartered logo. I've been wearing the hell out of it since I got it! Waiting for matchday before I wear the jersey out in public.

Yea I wanted to preorder to get that free tee, but didn't have the money at the time.

I was impressed with how fast they got it to me. I ordered it from LFC, customized, and it got to me in like 4 days.

He started less than half of Wigan's games this year. Wrong direction, IMO.

Super meh.

you guys realize we're about to start getting players that are off the grid a bit right? No more standard signings, but only players who can play the way Rodgers wants. Our transfer windows are gonna look different for awhile I think

You conveniently left out the first half of my quote.

A step up from Spearing, but I don't see how this fits Rodgers scheme.

I've resigned myself to a slow-er rebuilding process... I'm not even thinking qualifying for UCL next year... As long as the owners are on board and Rodger's has some time, I'm OK with it. However, I'd like to see us playing better and making progress ( we aren't that far away) I know my hopes of Falcao, Cavani, etc... are out the window for now.

That really is the only attitude to have. Get excited for the season and the players we sign. Put our full support behind the club no matter the outcome of next season.

Jesus Christ the start of the season is going to be brutal. I could easily see us getting 5 points from the first 5 games (or maybe even less). I hope that doesn't shoot our confidence from the get go.

Here is a pretty emotional story I got off of Reddit. It's long, but worth it.

Gave me chills. I'll be completely honest. When I have the crappiest of days, and nothing seems like its going right - the entire world set against me, I watch one of the "You'll Never Walk Alone" videos on youtube (One in particular actually, that I've posted somewhere in this thread. I can't access it at this computer at work).

Always makes me feel better.

So, when do we start a new thread 2012/2013 and officially usher in the Brendan Rodgers era on the SB?

See my thread on the Music Board about "The most beautiful and most meaningful song in the history of mankind". I'm the same way.

I vote for after the transfer season, when pre-season matches begin.

because after you said it, you instantly ignored it.

What does him not playing at Wigan have to do with fitting into a completely different scheme like Rodgers?

Which is all part of the point in that he'll see more value in second division players and bench guys that can acclimatize to his system well.
