Some twitter rumors floating that LFC made a 15M bid for Adam Johnson.
Would be a good signing and an upgrade in the wide areas. If yall also sign Sigurdsson that would help the midfield out big time. Now time to pawn Charlie Adam to a bottom of the table club.

You sure Arsenal doesn't want him? We'll give him to you for pennies on the dollar. Would compliment that Giroud signing nicely.
Sigurdsson will be in a Warrior kit next year

I was told aqua was out, but you mentioned him in your analysis. I heard he is going to end up staying in Italy after all. Is that not true?
Edit: sorry I'm posting from my phone and autocorrect took over. I fixed it.

It's back and forth with him. Latest report was his agent said its up to Rodgers whether he stays or not. Regardless, I was using him to illustrate a point. We have guys who fit the scheme on LFC's wages. No need to spend money on backups when we could have plenty.

I agree. Free transfers and mere pennies at this point. Nothing more.

No one wants to pick his contract. It is a bit high for a guy like Aqua. Looks like he may wear the warrior kit afterall.

Almost certainly, he will not terminate his contract with Liverpool.
I think he ends up at the club, but leaving it open in case.

I'm confused, I thought Rodgers primarily ran a 4-3-3, that often could resemble a 3-4-3 in attack?
Exactly.
Awesome article showing Rodgers' tactics
Some of my favorite quotes:
quote:
The only time we rest is when we have the ball. When we haven’t got the ball is the moment for intense pressure to get the ball back.
quote:
You cannot go (press) on your own. You work on zonal pressure, so that when it is in your zone, you have the capacity to press. That ability to press immediately, within five or six seconds to get the ball, is important
Eerily similar to Pep's philosophy he implemented at FCB:
quote:
Barcelona start pressing (hunting for the ball) the instant they lose possession. That is the perfect time to press because the opposing player who has just won the ball is vulnerable. He has had to take his eyes off the game to make his tackle or interception, and he has expended energy. That means he is unsighted, and probably tired. He usually needs two or three seconds to regain his vision of the field. So Barcelona try to dispossess him before he can give the ball to a better-placed teammate

I wonder what wm thinks of him.
Cash, you're living in Lausanne? I spent a summer there.

Congratulations to our part-owner for his first NBA Championship! However, there is still only one King.

Rumors that Man Utd and Tottenham are also interested in Sigurðsson. Rumors Man City is interested in Skrtel.
Both are enough to ruin my Friday and leave me in a foul mood.

i think we have the inside track with Gylfi, and Skrtel made a statement saying he was very happy and any transfer rumors are bullshite
let's keep this friday POSITIVE!
