I would be alright wth selling Kuyt if we could pick up Affelay. Then we'd still have a Dutch player

Apparently the Kuyt story was from last year and was reproduced by a Dutch website on accident.

If Soto is really leaving we are going to have to sign either Dann or Cahill. I wouldnt feel comfortable with only Carra Agger and Skrtel for the whole season.

To be fair you can not say Skrtel is brittle. The man played in every minute of every game in the EPL last year.

If Bellamy's cheap, a bit humbled and his head is right I think he is just what we need. An experienced and productive striker/winger that can provide cover, give us a spark off the bench and be an occasional starter.
Hopefully he could teach Carroll a few things also as long as they don't involve a golf club.
I hate to pull a trust in Kenny, but it fits on this one if it happens.
