All they had to do was not give up three goals in like 25 minutes. Hard to believe.

It's hard to take PSG seriously when they choke in the one competition that's actually competitive for them. Unlike most teams, they can devote all their time and resources on Champions League success.

I couldn't watch the game but neutrals seems to think it was half choke half horrific refs. Regardless it is what it is.

That's an overstatement

Bruh, they're not even winning Ligue 1 right now.

Really?

Wasn't aware of that, but that reinforces how much of a joke PSG are, at the moment. They should be running away with that league. They have even more of a monopoly in Ligue 1 than Bayern do in the Bundesliga. No one can touch them financially in France, now that Monaco have fallen off. They'll pull away like they always do, but Lyon or Marseille or anyone else shouldn't even be able to contend with PSG.

I just can't take PSG seriously until they actually beat one of the big boys. They had a 4-0 lead, even scored an away goal, and still lost. That's hard to do.

From the hilarious Vichy French antics in WWII to the Arsene Wenger/PSG choke jobs, it's always my fellow frenchmen who can't show up to a battle or finish a job.

What a collapse, what a come back. Best finish I have ever seen though. Credit to Barca and the magical Neymar. He was absolute class.

They might be (barely) leading the table right now, but Monaco isn't what they were a few years ago when they had James and other studs. They're good, but not a threat to the big teams.

It speaks more to PSG's incompetence than anything that this league is actually competitive again. But that's a good thing, I guess. It's pretty boring watching PSG steamroll everyone these past few years. The Bundesliga isn't as great of a league as it could be right now because Bayern dominates. Hopefully Dortmund or someone else can catch up soon to make it exciting for neutrals to follow again.

Still, it's all-time great comeback, and I don't want to take away from that. Only thing I've personally seen that was comaparable is Acadiana blowing a 3-0 lead with 16 minutes left to lose 4-3 and see Jesuit advance to the state finals in 2015.

How scary is Barcelona's attack, man? No lead is safe against Messi and company.

Nah, they're just one of the top teams in Europe in goals scored, won their Champions League group and are in the middle of their best domestic season (cups and league) since the takeover.

Yeah, they don't have as much money or big names as they used to, but they're better off.

I don't watch the French league at all, nor do I care to. Far better European leagues out there to enjoy as a neutral.

We'll just agree to disagree about Monaco. I've watched them a bit in the Champions League this year. They're good, and definitely one of the best teams in France, as they should be.

But they aren't serious Champions League contenders. Not yet anyways, maybe they'll build into contenders again. They're headed in the right direction, unlike a lot of the big clubs in Europe. Man City will take care of them next Wednesday.

On paper, PSG should still be running away with the league, but PSG gonna PSG.

So you admit you never watch any of these teams or even pay attention to the league in the slightest yet still somehow have strong opinions about them

I've watched at least 4 full games of Monaco in the Champions League this year, maybe 5. That's enough to get a good look at a team. I don't see them as elite. Maybe you do, and that's fine.

I watch enough highlights on the weekend to get the gist of all the major teams. Sorry for not knowing the league standings of Ligue 1 off the top of my head. It's been a very boring league the last few years, not worth paying much notice. About as competitive as the Greek league.

I'll watch French teams when they're in the Champions or Europa league. The rest of the league doesn't have the quality or atmosphere to keep me interested. I watched a lot of Nantes when Bedoya was there, but it didn't hold my interest. It's pretty much a selling league, at this point. Outside of the elite teams, all the good players leave immediately. Serie A is becoming that way very quickly. Sad to see.

I really don't care about European soccer outside of the tournaments and the top 3 leagues. MLS is much more relevant, competitive, and interesting to me. I'm not the kind of cheap American soccer fan that shits on MLS while rooting for 5 different European clubs.

Jardim is a superb coach, as is Nice's coach, Lucien Favre. PSG isn't running away with the league because Ligue 1 is actually underrated in terms of the players it produces. France basically produces top level players for most of Africa. They have a superb development system. The league is very competitive as well, even with PSG's money.

I'll start checking Ligue 1 out again. That's good to hear.

Now we just need to end Bayern's dominance of the Bundesliga. I would watch it even more than the Premier League if the title race was better. Love watching Pulisic at Dortmund.
