Costas face pisses a lot of people off and hes extremely whiney and acts like a baby. However, a huge amount of times he is in a tussle with someone it is definitely 50/50. A lot of defenders are told to frick with him to rile him up, off the ball incidents against costa are every 3 minutes.

Aguero can be a count at times, no doubt about that. If some one wants to say that he CAN be a dirty player at times, I think that's fair. But I don't think he's a dirty player match in, match out like many people consider Costa to do.

Fernandinho, IMO, is not a dirty player. He plays and gives more effort than anyone in a City shirt each and every match. He's a tackling machine, in doing so, bad tackles happen, but I think calling him dirty is a bit of a stretch.

While Aguero and Fernandinho were choking people and kung fu kicking Chelsea players, Costa was actually playing peacemaker. People forget that. Costa actually has only had one game in the last year where he's been toeing the line. He's been pretty well behaved since Mourinho left.

I know Costa's your guy so you're bound to defend him, but to everyone else he's as dirty as a gas station mop.

With Costa, it's not the overt stuff, necessarily. He's got a little of that, but it's more the chippy stuff off of the ball. It's intentional gamesmanship with him. He's an expert at stepping on people, grabbing off the ball, elbowing, talking shite, etc. He makes it a part of his game. It's different from say a de Jong, who was always a clumsy dumbass about everything. Not saying Costa doesn't use these tactics effectively, just saying he's dirty as frick. In fact, he's probably the best at it. But he's reviled for it.
