You could argue the only thing United needs now is a solid back line.
Shaw, Bailey, (?), (Young?)

Soccer is such a more relaxing sport to watch than football. During LSU games I’m on edge the whole time.

Let's wait a couple of games before crowning them. Cardiff are terrible. Man U look better, but Cardiff's spacing is really bad. Man U doesn't need to do an Orgeron and hire OGS, who was terrible at Cardiff years ago. Getting Poch or Zidane should be the priority, in my view. Zidane will have that midfield playing amazing, and Poch will instill a high press that should help give the defenders Man U already has more protection.

I know it’s Cardiff but the attack has been better today than anything we’ve seen all year regardless of the opponent.

Speak for yourself. Watching Arsenal these last 14 years has fricked up my heart hard. LSU games used to do that too, but not since 2012.

Cardiff has been decent at home this year tho
I don't trust Zidane unless a solid director of football comes in
Poch and Howe are the move
Also rumors we are getting the former Spurs now current Leipzig director of football. Who happens to be from Manchester.

Like I said, Man U is doing basic shite, and they'll see many more defensively compact teams. Cardiff's spacing is really bad, and Man U's midfield is doing a good job of drawing the midfield line forward. Man U's offensive spacing, with Young so high up the field, will cause massive problems against a team like Liverpool, who have competent combinations down the wings.
If OGS is trying to bring back the SAF style, having full backs pinned high up the field, and making the field as wide as possible is a requisite. But it's hard to have offensive depth and then defend narrow, as it puts a lot of pressure on midfielders to pinch in to keep proper spacing, and can affect their game going forward. SAF did this by having either the proper midfield pairing (as Carrick was unbelievably good at his positioning) or by strong work by his wide players, who worked with their fullbacks to prevent getting hit on the counter. It was mostly this during those years when Man U couldn't find the right midfield duo.
I like when Man U are more attacking because they have fun attacking players, but what OGS has fixed is relatively easy to fix. He's given players freedom, but lots of things need to be fixed. I think the biggest danger would be for OGS to get the job, and they miss out on Poch or Zidane, the two managers best suited, in my view, to deal with Man U's squad.

Only 13th in the home table with a -3 goal differential. Better than their away form certainly, but I think it's insane for relegation teams to play as wide as they seem to. Play narrow, defend deep, and create overloads on the counter seems to be the tried and true method for most relegation teams.

I just think he'll get that midfield working really well. Pogba. I think Man U need one more midfield player though.

Poch would be the best but Howe would be interesting.

Maybe you'll target Nordi Mukiele, RB Leipzig's right back who has been good this season.
