Sorry but that’s a red in any game if it’s not Chelsea

Huh?
He tried to play the ball. By the new rule that's a yellow.

Double jeopardy is no longer a thing.

He missed the ball, took out the player who would have scored. If you don’t know that’s a red then watch more

What an absolute embarrassing half of Spurs. Dele has no business being out there. He kills any sort of momentum with an awful touch then worse pass. Moura and Son are non existent. I don’t know what the frick Harry Kane is doing. And the midfield and Aurier have been absolutely worked.

They literally changed the rule this year that if a defender attempts to play the ball in a goal-scoring opportunity it's now a yellow and a PK, instead of a red and a PK.

BBC Article

"Players who commit a foul to deny a goalscoring opportunity will no longer automatically be sent off, football's rule-making body has confirmed.

The previous 'triple-punishment' rule required a red card - and therefore a suspension - as well as the award of a penalty under those circumstances.

However, players committing accidental fouls that deny a goalscoring chance will now be cautioned instead."

Pretty much if you try to play the ball it's a yellow.

Stupid from Son, orange territory.

He's really starting to get a bad habit of lashing out.

Son kinda nicked Rudiger’s nuts there to be honest... and it looked like he kicked out on purpose

I think it’s probably the right call.
