Neither squad wants to finish at the top of Group D. The winner gets the runner-up from Group F (looking like France or Germany), while the runner-up of Group D plays the runner-up of Group E (looking like Sweden or Spain). This weird bracket incentivizes a second place finish in Group D. I think England vs. Czech Republic will be an even bigger snooze than England vs. Scotland was.
