Three more years of this crap
I have no problem seeing him go in 2012, although I'm not ready to fire him just for this loss. We're still in a position to do fine here, not that this isn't a joke of a loss.

It's frustrating for sure. But we are better than these teams.

I think Bradley should be fired if the US doesn't win the Gold Cup.
I am not as big a hater of Bob as most people here or at Big Soccer, but I think he should have been canned after the 2010 Cup. He made tons of tactical mistakes there, starting with the Slovenia game.

I don't expect cakewalks. But I do expect to win. At least in group play.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Bob's pregame speech didn't include "Hey, just wander around listlessly in the first half. You'll be fine."

Well, you're probably not one of the people I'm talking about.

I wouldn't kill him if we lost to Mexico in the final. Anything short of a final, and a firing isn't a bad idea, especially ahead of qualifying. Again, there has to be someone clearly better to replace him. Remember, we didn't necessarily bring Bob back for great work, but b/c we couldn't find a better replacement.

i think that it'll be more important to see how he motivates the team after this embarrassment
he needs to be kicking cleats hard enough to hit david beckham in the head

There's something going on with this team and poor starts, though. Not sure what it is. Lack of leadership on the field? Not sure, but we were lucky it didn't bite us in the arse at the WC

With the way we go with 2 defensive CMs, I am not entirely sure about that. Obviously he expects more effort in midfield than we got, but the goal wasn't to come out in an attack-oriented way.

Agreed.

I think what LfcSU has been saying is right. This team has no identity. We sort of mold into whatever team we play. Never really dictate the game.

Let's sell Wal Mart to Germany in exchange for Joachim Lowe
Posted on 6/11/11 at 9:24 pm to Meursault
I should say worse. As in not making it out of group play.

Actually Wal Mart was in business before in Germany and failed pretty bad

What ever happened with the Bielsa to the US talk, btw?

Germany's economy is far too advanced for Wal-Mart.

I don't think it was ever really a consideration by Sunil, who by the way, should be ousted immediately. That has nothing to do with this loss, btw.
