I guess maybe I'm spoiled with LSU and the Saints but I found the atmosphere before games in England & Spain nothing compared to big games here. And while the singing is great, a majority of the stadium isn't making much noise at all.

Straight Cash, your stadium picture "I miss you" is super cool. Where is that?

All three are FC Kaiserslautern, I used to live a 15 to 20min walk away from the stadium. The last pic is from downtown and shows people walking to the ground.

Chelsea at Liverpool last year when Gerrard slipped. It was probably one of their biggest games in 20+ years. The atmosphere was great and it was definitely a surreal experience but it wasn't incredibly loud and it wasn't very crazy outside the stadium/inside the nearby bars.
It would be hard to judge Spain on the game I went to because it wasn't a huge rivalry and the La Liga title had been decided.

What match did you see?

Anyway, people on the Continent tend to be more behaved/subdued than the islanders, and the islanders tend to be slightly more subdued than ´Murrikans (especially in the South), don´t you think?

I can't take people saying the Saints atmosphere is awesome to serious bc so many fans jumped on the wagon post 2006.

NFC East, AFC North and NFC North are the best NFL environments there are.

The Kop has been over rated for a while. But probably that match their fans were more on edge if anything.

My first United match when we won the league was a party non stop from 2pm when we hit the pubs until they closed down. People lighting fireworks and flares in the streets. It was mad.

You probably went to a bar with all Irish or Scandinavian tourist

The GB Packers' Lambeau Field is kinda like this. I say kinda because it is huge, but it is smack in the middle of single-family homes.

People tailgating at their house and walking to the game bc its a block away.

Its funny going to some schools though when they are like we tailgate hard and you get there and its a fricking house party off campus.

My brother has gone there twice. Since a wee lad, Green Bay has always fascinated him.

Hamburg has its stadium well outside the city. It a long walk even once you get off the rail.
