A club with no history like City can't be picky about silverware.
I'd rather not pretend like I had an incredible season because I won some filler trophies. I think if you asked anyone at City if they would trade places with United this season the answer would be a resounding no. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

Yet you would rather finish 3rd with no silverware, over 6th with two trophies when both season get you in the champions league.
Its not like City have and European history. City fans would be over the moon to even win Europa to add to their trophy case.

Little brother is still little brother.
Since the day City "arrived" winning the league in 2012
United have 1 league title, 1 FA Cup, 1 League Cup and 1 Europa Cup.
City have 1 league title and 2 league cups.
Even when we are shite by our standards we are still more successful.

for one winning breeds more wining
its experience in Europe, which City counties to fall flat on its face in the Champions League or when in Europa/UEFA Cup.
If City crashed out of the groups stages and won Europa its still a European trophy. Something greatly lacking in City's trophy case.

I guess you haven't been supporting City long enough, to remember them crashing out into Europa multiple times.
