It's not that funny if you've paid attention to this market. He's one of the better fullbacks in a Europe devoid of fullbacks, he's young, and he's English. What would you expect him to sell for?

meh hes good but not 50 million good. The market isn't dictating 50 million pound fullbacks. The English tax for sure but hes not young, hes already 27. He will be replaced in 3 to 4 years. Spurs just fleeced them and have his replacement already there who will probably end up better and was a City academy player.

Chelsea said they would pay up to 60, and he is light years ahead of Walker.
He is the top fullback on the market and Walker is not that caliber.
