I don’t know what came first: EM flirting with MC or the club telling him who he could play. The defensive lineup last match was baffling. In retrospect to me it seems EM made that lineup as a frick you message to ownership.

you are right
the situation was untenable and ownership is to blame but when it came out Enzo was talking to MC (no doubt from his agent to strongarm the club) he had to go

I wish we could fire Behdad Eghbali too

With today’s lineup, I would prefer Neto at left back, and Gusto at right back. Let Gusto invert. Garnacho could go to left wing.

Gusto is MUCH better on the right, and I trust Neto.

Having Chalobah AND Acheampong on the right is not tenable.

We really miss Cucurella and Caicedo. Also, I can’t understand not starting Fofana. Hell, he isn’t with the team at all. I wonder what’s up with that?

Showing too much respect for city imo. We spent billions to play like this?

Sanchez has a slight muscle pull
Fofana is running a fever

CFC are playing so tentative, it makes me sick

It was a shite call.

To he fair though, he should have gotten a yellow earlier.

Neto has jelly legs.

He should have been subbed awhile back.

By season’s end? Top 4

This squad is not ready yet.

They need a quality CB and Forward.

FWIW - they just drew away to Man City. It’s a point that I didn’t expect to get (especially given the current circumstances).

It was painful to watch, but they earned that point.

Maybe could have got 3 if we hadn't completely surrendered the first 45 min

With what just happened with the gaffer, a point is gladly taken. Hire someone else, get Estaveo healthy, grab a CB in the window and let’s go.

Perhaps.

Then again, not having Cucurella AND Fofana was probably a factor (and that’s not including missing Caicedo).

I’ll take a point on the road and like it.
