Is Ben Sweat actually Some frick? I feel like he is. I follow a good bit of US youth soccer twitter accounts, listen to the Scuffed podcast where they get really into the weeds and I have literally never heard of this kid

Well, he's 27 and has played in pretty much every level of the American soccer system (NCAA, PDL, NASL, USL, & MLS).
Has been pretty decent for NYCFC.

We're also still pretty thin at LB, so it's always a good idea to bring in someone new to see what they have to offer.

He also didn’t come for the last friendlies due to injury. He’s got a got damn eagle and flag tattoo and was exhausted after last season, they need to let him breathe. As Lebron would say, “SHEESH!”

I like all the midfielders that we called in, but i’d Like to see Canouse too. I suppose he may be staying with DC through the season as they make a playoff push.
