I don’t say this often about young players, but I feel like Acosta has hit his peak.

We seem stuck in this idea of a single striker.

I think that's easily our best option at this point.

This formation didn’t work against Trinidad and Tobago in a must not lose world cup qualifier.

I'm at work so not watching but are we doing that thing again where we aren't keeping possession but we also aren't setup to strike on the counter?

That’s basically exactly what we are doing, except this time we are doing it with 3 centerbacks rather than 2

It's about the only thing we haven't tried with the young corps, so why can we assume it won't work? Seems to me that it would compliment the strengths of our young players in the pool.

It'll leave way too much space open in the middle of the field.

As opposed the the mauling that took place in the first half and how bad things were against England?

Hell, at this point it is worth a try at minimum.

Grifo skipped rush for an international friendly.

Hopefully one person gets this horrendous, niche joke

Pulisic was spot on in saying "Holy shite, guys, can we get a damn coach and a plan already?"

Lack of chemistry is something I have harped on, and every match we play with no true direction is a waste of time when it comes to player/team development.

Missed the first 40 min and this is a super rare opportunity for me to watch a game at work but I’m kinda close to turning it off

I think the personnel choices had a bit to do with that. If we could get a midfield 3 of Adams, McKennie, and Pulisic, we'd be much better.

You'd have turned it off at minute 25 if you'd have turned it on from the start.

With that said, Sarachan has made good halftime adjustments during his time as interim coach.

Horvath's distribution has been as bad as his ability to keep the ball out of the net is good.
