They would have gotten promoted last year had they not lost their playoff game.

Yea my facetious point was that Zelalem would facilitate promotion not the actual fact of them getting promoted.

Although re-reading it didn't portray that message very well

Could change again, but reports suggest Zelalem unlikely to join Rangers. Charlton also unlikely. Birmingham + Fulham still options.

Birmingham seemingly out of the question for Zelalem too now. Gary Rowett: “I can categorically say he’s not one we have offered a deal to.”

Guys, I'm so confused

Nobody on this board should want Zelalem to play against part-timers

Aresene has no clue where to send Zelalem it appears. How can a loan to Rangers fall through when it was reported that all parties wanted it....sometimes I don't understand these lower division youngster loan issues ....I guess it may have something to do with PT potentially.

It has sort of played out this way for a couple of Arsenal's loanee's this window. Like a rumor comes out that they are going somewhere, but it doesn't actually get confirmed for like a week or two.

I wouldn't be surprised if the hold up is that they would rather him go to a championship level team, but they want to make sure he would actually play.

If he goes to Fulham, how would that impact Hyndman's playing time (assuming he doesn't move during this window)?

Hyndman hasn't been making the bench from what I can tell so it doesn't seem like him moving there would affect Hyndman's playing time

Dual national (Germany) 16 year old Timothy Tillman to Bayern Munich from Greuther Fürth for 500k Euros.

Is he leaning one way or the other? I'll add him if he's played in our program or would prefer to play in our program.

Seems to be a German player if they'll have him. I think he's played for Germany's U16

Bobby Wood likely called in for the two friendlies next month, or at least that's what Jurgen implies in this article.

So apparently Zelalem isn't playing in today's U21 game and is actually back in Scottland meeting w/Rangers

I give up

Johannson got the start today, and Brooks got subbed in the 90th minute. Brooks came on as a striker though which was weird.

So Wood and Wooten for these friendlies? Is Jozy dropped?

No, but Toronto is trying to convince Jurgen not to call up Jozy and Bradley for the first friendly.

Ben Lederman has been released from Barcelona.

I guess it's not surprising since he couldn't play in a game for them til he's 18.

Well frick. We have a kid named Konrad De La Fuente there still, so that's cool. But sucks for Ben. I bet he gets picked up by some other team.
