Couldn’t figure out why y’all cared so much then I saw the logos.
Hulu is too $, YouTube TV is better. We just switched. We liked Hulu too.

I have been looking at options, and hopefully I wont have to, but roku has fox sports app on their stick, so if it comes down to it, I will probably just buy that for the one time cost and use that. I believe espn+ will have the games as well, but cant find a 100% answer on that.

How would that solve anything?

My parents have xfinity and I am guessing I can use their login for the fox sports app

Yeah i suppose that would work. What are you using right now that gets you YT TV but not the Fox Sports app?
Xbox or Playstation? I'm not a gamer so im not familiar with those type of devices.

Just using my TV.. it did not pull up the fox sports app when I searched it.

10-4. I think a good streaming box is a solid investment anyway over using the built-in apps on a smart TV. I'd personally get something a little nicer than a stick.

It definitely is. I personally recommend the nvidia shield tv or the Apple tv 4k, depending on which OS your tied into more.
I have both and compared to the Amazon streamers and Roku, those are the 2 best that I've played with at my house.

Yeah i love my shield. Don't own one thing apple so apple tv was never an option personally. But i hear great things about it.

what is the biggest plus of having these? I get HBO, netflix, amazon, espn+, hulu, disney and YTTV on my TV, so I have never really looked into it as all of those that I use, are available for free on my TV

If you're currently happy with the apps on your TV, then nothing. However, I find that the apps on my Samsung are sluggish and crash along with buffering issues.

Thanks. Yeah I’ve never had buffering issues at all with what I have

The biggest plus of having a separate streaming device is longevity. TV manufacturers don't support the streaming software like the streaming device folks. A Fire TV will be supported, and updated, far longer than the TV.

Yep just got the email.
They came to an agreement. Yippee.

Turns out YouTubeTV wasn't completely transparent in announcing this new deal. Most of the major markets are keeping those RSNs, but smaller markets are getting screwed. Birmingham, for example, kept Fox Sports South but lost Fox Sports Southeast.
YTTV tried to sneak this small detail by it seems. Total bullshite.
