Just FYI I was able to confirm they are clearing out stock of the 8s to replace with the newer 9s. Thats why the sales are so steep and continuous.

These will run out sooner than later.

Just got one for Christmas. Really happy with it. Its in my music room with 16’ ceilings and it fills it nicely!

Not for long it isn't. There is still open POs being filled, but Harman isn't cutting new POs for the 8's to their CM. You'll see the sale price again but the 8 is most definitely being discontinued.
