iPhone 16 Pro Storage Issue

Currently have a 16 Pro with 128gb of storage. I keep getting a low storage message for the past month now. When I view the storage data it shows that 52.4gb is being used for “system data”(which seems like a lot), 12gb for “iOS”, 27gb for photos, and the rest for other.
Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve already deleted many photos, videos, apps, message, etc. but still can’t keep enough storage. It’s frustrating at this point.

Are you removing the photos from iCloud too? Otherwise they're just being re-synched to your phone.
I'm at 14GB of System Data on an iPhone 13.

When is the last time you restarted the phone?
I'm at 2.5 GB of System Data on my iphone.

Backup to iCloud and do a factory reset. If that doesn’t fix it, come back.
