I'm a big fan of both now, I had Samsung's for years left Samsung to go to iPhone for 2 years really didn't dig it, don't understand why people like it so much. Especially since an RCS is universal now. Went back to Samsung for 2 years, decided to try a pixel. I got a pixel 10 Pro XL All I can tell you is you have to use a pixel for a extended amount of time to understand the differences and use all the features. The talk to text is second to none, all the Google apps work a lot better including Android auto. The camera is probably the best of any smartphone but not a huge gap, Samsung native apps are better like phone app and gallery etc. The best thing about being on a pixel is you always get the software updates first. Samsung has better hardware but it really don't matter. You put a case on the phone anyway, with a case on they all look the same. I used mostly Google apps on my Samsung phone anyway. I find that face unlock and the fingerprint scanner works better on the pixel especially with a screen protector on, they both use the same technology now. Overall I'm really happy with the Pixel can't go wrong with either

I'm looking at possibly upgrading this month to an S25+. Looking for opinions if I should do that or wait a little while for the 26+?

I have a pixel 9. It’s ok. Heavy as shite and the camera sticks out, so it’s a bit awkward.
Just not really wowed by it but I got a great deal to try it.

I really don't like that you can't organize the app drawer into folders on Pixel
You mean for instance, my "travel" folder where I have maps, Airbnb and airline apps? Or my music folder where I have Spotify, Shazam, guitar tuner, and an 8 track recording app? On my pixel

I’m updating this because I spent some more time with my Pixel the other day….
I don’t understand the love for this phone. It’s bulky and heavy. It looks nice, feels quality, vibrant screen etc., but the thing has issues just like every other android I’ve experienced. For instance, on a YouTube web page I could not “watch in YouTube” or “open in app” when clicking on the button. This is a Google phone on a Google browser trying to open a Google app. I just run across annoyances like that which seem avoidable on the iPhone. The galaxy is nicer than a pixel, the only reason I would consider a pixel is that they can be had at great deals (which is how I would up with mine).
