Wait, you have an ibuypower case?
Some dude was selling it on craigslist for $10. Was supposed to be for a craigslist build but I kind of liked it and kept it
I wish that red line on the front was RGB or interchangeable colors

Just keep talking.
You are doing a great job proving it.
Edt: the SoB who asked for PC help. Sorry this thread turned into nonsense.

There is no viable GPU solution for tolerable 4k surround gaming.
God dammit here I am in this thread. No more work for me today.

Exactly.
Sometimes I struggle with just feeding 1 2160 monitor.

You mentioned triple 4k monitors, so they think you mean 4k surround gaming, which would be nearly unusable for gaming since no video card(s) can power that many pixels

Ah makes sense.
That article I linked mention multi-GPU support being zilch.

What are you even trying to say?
Just fore warning. Most of us here have more fire power than the test rigs in that link. Also have been 4K setups for enough time to provide a trusted sample.
Edt: Dammit, can't respond fast enough driving.

Okay? Is this supposed to mean something to me?

Yes. Means we have tested first hand.

Did anyone ask you what kind of games your son plays? Like a list of his top 5 favorites, games he's looking forward to, whatever info you can provide.
You probably don't know exact games and can't get that info without spoiling a surprise, but it would be valuable info. Whatever debate was going on about CPU brand/model can possibly be solved by knowing the kind of games he's into -- GPU is generally most important, but when debating core count vs. thread performance in choosing a CPU, what you should get can depend on the individual game. Not every game takes full advantage of 6+ cores or hyperthreading (you might see the cores in use, but they aren't being used efficiently). Other games are better at it. Some games don't require much CPU compute at all. And at a certain threshold in games where you really only care about staying at 60fps, the difference in frame rate across CPUs is completely irrelevant.
Also, do you live in BR?

He said minecraft was one, but we know that can run on a piece of poop

Minecraft is his favorite right now. He plays it all the time and even watches some blue haired British dude play it on YouTube. He plays a lot of Star Wars on the XBox?
I live in Zachary. Yeah I figured Minecraft wouldn’t take much but he’s really into this kinda of stuff and I think if he had a good system that he could grow into it that could grow with him he’d broaden his video game pallet.
