What is the cheapest way to have year round access to SEC Network/Espn

Quick Backstory…Six years ago we had Dish. I was about to cancel it but then we ended up having to move my MIL in with us. I went ahead and kept it but reduced it down to just one TV in living room for her. About 3 months ago we finally had to move MIL into assisted living facility. Wife and I discussed it and came to realization that sports is literally the only thing we watch on Dish. We do have Netflix, mainly for the wife. Honestly other than sports I watch Pluto TV or Tubi for pretty much anything else. What is the cheapest way I can keep access to SEC network and ESPN. I can use rabbit ears for locals and stream movies off the aforementioned Pluto and Tubi.

ESPN Unlimited subscription.

The cheapest reliable way to get both SEC Network (SECN) and ESPN (including ESPN2, etc.) in 2026, especially if you're already using an antenna (rabbit ears) for locals and free streaming like Pluto TV/Tubi for movies/TV, is ESPN Unlimited at $29.99 per month (or $299.99 annually for better value, ~$25/month).
This standalone service from ESPN/Disney gives you direct access to the full lineup of live ESPN networks, including:
ESPN
ESPN2
ESPNU
ESPNEWS
SEC Network (SECN)
ACC Network
Plus extras like ESPN+, SECN+, and ESPN on ABC for simulcasts.
It's specifically designed for people like you who don't need a full live TV bundle—just the sports essentials. Many sources highlight it as the most affordable and direct option for ESPN + SECN without cable, especially for college football fans.

subscribe to ESPN's direct service for $30/mo. Unsubscribe on months you dont need it. It has no contract.
