I've used Outlook (desktop app) for years at work and personal. We primarily had Comcast (Xfinity) for years, prior to switching to ATT for fiber coverage here, so my main email has always been an @comcast.net account. Have an @gmail.com account for purchases, ads, news etc. And do have an outlook.com account but don't use.
Having continual configuration issues with using the Comcast email and Outlook. Thinking of switching the main email account.
What do you like to use?

That's not Outlook's fault. I use Outlook (full fat client, not the shitty new one,) and connect it to three different Outlook addresses as well as a Yahoo mailbox.
Try Thunderbird for a few weeks, I'm sure you'll recreate the issue.
