Excellence Resorts in Mexico. Fits your price range and you will have a great time.

Excellence Playa Mujeres or Atelier in Playa Mujeres. Excellence is building a new one called Costa Mujeres … I’d do that one if it will be open by then. Excellence is best booked direct with them. Make sure you click on the rate option for refundable which will include free transfers. You can cancel up to one to three days prior and it will be fully refundable.

If you want really quiet and peaceful, then do Beloved Hotels which is also run by Excellence.

Mexico was so hot in late June this year I swore I would never go back that time of year.
Baton Rouge felt refreshing after that heat.
I was in Cancun.

For $3000 there are some nice resorts in Caribbean for around that price range. I’m not a fan of Mexico personally but they have cheap deals. Belize too. Jamaica for the price and quality of beach is a great deal always. I’ve even seen some decent deals in Antigua for that amount. Reach out if you want help.
