Ruston has a brewery in the heart of downtown now. Serves cocktails too.
People often say it’s a dry parish, and perhaps it was waaaay back, but you could buy beer in Ruston in the early 80s and there were bars in town. Folks would drive to Grambling (also in Lincoln Parish) for hard stuff, and there was a bar or two across the line in Jackson Parish where they could serve frozen drinks with hard liquor in them.

Thank you. I stand corrected. I attended LA TECH in the late 1960's. It appears the alcohol situation has change in Ruston since then.
