Thanksgiving week I’m taking my kids to Six Flags and the new peppa pig theme park in north Richland hills, where should we stay? Hot breakfast at the hotel would be nice and a few restaurants nearby would be a plus. TIA

I'd stay in Ft Worth. Arlington is a dump as is North Richland Hills. While in Ft Worth you can hit the Stockyards for a "cattle drive" and/or go to the Zoo and Water Gardens if you are looking for other things to do.

We stayed at the La Quinta right across Six Flags Dr. Really don't remember anything horrible about it. It was very convenient to just walk across the street to the park. It also had a nice size pool.

New hotels by Rangers ballprk. That area is nice.
Downton Ft worth is fine as well. Omni worthington is a good one. More stuff to do in downtown FW after 6 flags

Joe T's has always been over rated for the food. It is the atmosphere you get in the courtyard. The brunch in the courtyard is very nice though.
I'd rather do brunch than fight the crowd and heat for dinner.

So OP, I would try and find a place in downtown FW. There is more to do with the family after a you do Six Flags and such. It's a 25 min drive to Six Flags.
You can do the Stockyards and watch the longhorns on the cattle drive thru the street and get some shopping and souveneirs. West 7th street has some good eateries as well as down town. Do a brunch at the Joe T Garcias and some BBQ at Coopers in the Stockyards. Heim BBQ is good as well and it's near down town.

Terrible. Yet best ambiance in America.
