Anyone with inside about stuff to do in the area, outside of the obvious gambling? Gonna be there in mid June.

You can raft Clear Creek, go horseback riding, gold mine tour, fish, hike (might still be a good amount of snow higher up), etc.
ETA, you can also drive to Nederland to grab lunch/beers at Busey Brews Smokehouse & Brewery. There's some other cool places in and around Nederland. Scenic ~30 min drive from Black Hawk to Nederland along the base of the Indian Peaks Wilderness/Continental Divide range just to the west.

Idaho Springs is 20 minutes away. Head over and visit my all time favorite pizza joint Beau Jo’s. It’s well worth the 20 minute drive. There’s also two breweries you can hit afterwards - Tommyknocker and Westbound & Down.
