Husband and I are thinking of going to Pensacola to see the Blue Angels in November. We're wanting to bring our dog, so hoping November won't be as crowded. Obviously since we're looking for a pet friendly place, our options are more limited. How important is it to stay on the beach? Are there any areas we should stay away from?

the November show is on the base, so you can't really see anything from the beach (maybe a little bit if you're at the western end of the island at Ft. Pickens). Crowds obviously are nowhere the size of the July beach show, but there are still a lot of people and the security to get onto the base creates a lot of traffic

We had no trouble getting in and finding parking, but took us 2+ hours to get out of there. It was still packed in November.

Park close to the main gate and walk.
