Well what was his response?

Some of y’all really need to have a beer with some of the former players during his era, especially the ones on the championship team it’s pretty eye opening. And no these weren’t bench warmers these were star players. Hell some former top recruits that played a different sport later for LSU will tell you some wild things about even trying to get recruited by him.

Care to elaborate?

I went and looked at their schedule. They've also lost to Northern KY and Army. They play Clemson this wknd, that could get ugly.

Refresh my memory, is that the game where Bo Wallace left the field early?
I will NEVER understand that hire. Unless your goal was to sabotage the program.

I can’t stay if it does any better but I feel like elliptical is lower impact vs stairs. Stairs I do a few minutes facing the left/right side. Haven’t worked up the courage to go backwards.
Yea I like to get it over with first, bc its my least favorite, plus it helps me manage my time. I'll just keep doing what I've been doing, its been working. Thanks!
Is there a benefit to doing it after workout?

Then i'd lower the incline to the point you don't have to use the handles/railing for the entirety of the use. On the low end holding onto the treadmill reduces calories burned by 20-30% and i've seen some individual exampes show upwards of a 50% reduction.

If I walked slower, I wouldn't have to hold on, but I usually fluctuate between 2.5-3 speed wishe

No. It's only "too much" if it is taking up too much time that you don't get resistance training in as wells.

Otherwise, 45 minutes of light to moderate cardio isn't too much at all.

Thanks

Are you able to do this without holding onto the machine? That's a decent elevation.

Hell no.
I do. I also rotate between machines and free weights, cable, landmine, etc
Just to tone up. Would like to get down to 150-160ish

Changed my lifestyle and lost 83 lbs since July 2024. Started back in the gym June 2025.

And no I'm not on Ozempic or any other that other crap

Am I doing too much cardio?

Posted by LSUMaverick on 2/24/26 at 2:37 pm
42 yr old female. 176 lbs

Working out 4 days a week and I rotate my cardio

-15 min on the stairs then 30 on elliptical
-15 min on the row machine then walk 30 min on the treadmill 15% elevation at 3 mph speed

So total of 45 min a day

Is this enough, too much, or just right? TIA
Oh ok, listening at work and was distracted. Thanks
