Bonfires on the Mississippi River Levee Christmas Eve?

A last-minute change of plans has my wife and I with no place to go Christmas Eve, even though we are down here all the way from NW Ohio. Given that, it seems like a no-brainer to go experience the Bonfires on the Mississippi River Levee that guide Pappa Noel to his south Louisiana destinations.
Can anyone share what they know? Is it mostly around Gramercy?
My brother is available to join us, but his neuropathy badly limits his ability to walk long distances, so is bringing him a bad idea?
Thank you all, and Merry Christmas!

You'll have to put up with some stupid replies (and post a picture of your wife), but you may want to try posting this on the OT-Lounge. Outdoor Board is usually helpful as well.
May get a little more traction there being that Christmas Eve is tomorrow

Here is a good map and info about one-way traffic tomorrow night.
It's a lot of fun. There are lots available to park and walk around.
As far as your brother, it might be too far to walk. But, if you just want to ride the route in the car, that's possible, but traffic will be heavy.
Best bet is to get off I-10 at the Gramercy Exit, head down to river road, and then hang a right and follow along. At the end, right on 642, right on 3125, back to 3213/641, take a left there and go back to I-10.
Have fun!

But seriously, that is a very good idea to post this on the OT and Outdoor boards.
